The Green Mountain Passport Program
Vermont Residents at least 62 years of age, or Vermont Veterans of the uniformed services are eligible to receive a Green Mountain Passport. This Passport allows you free day-use passes to Vermont State Parks and Historic Sites. The Passport is good for life!
Applicants must complete an application at the Town Hall and submit a one-time fee of $2.00

Licensing Your Dog:
Dog Licenses are to be renewed at the Town Office on April 1st annually. Apply in person with a current copy of your dog’s rabies certificate. Fee: $9 for neutered and spayed dogs, $13 if not. Fee after April 1: $11 for neutered and spayed dogs, $17 if not spayed or neutered.
Marriage License:
Couples planning to marry in Vermont can follow the link here: Questions and Answers to Help You Plan Your Wedding. They can complete the Marriage License Applicationform online and bring it to any town clerk within Vermont. The clerk issues a license that the couple takes to an officiant. The officiant signs, dates, and returns the license to the town clerk. Then the town clerk records and files the certificate and sends a certified copy to the Health Department.

- The cost of a marriage license is $80.00. The license is valid for 60 days. So, if you do not perform your wedding ceremony within 60 days, your license will be void.
Certified marriage certificate is $10.00.
Civil unions were established in Vermont in 2000 to provide same-sex couples all the benefits, protections and responsibilities under law as are granted to spouses in a marriage. The marriage equality act, effective September 1, 2009 allows same-sex couples to marry in Vermont. This discontinued the need for the separate status of “civil unions.” Civil unions entered into prior to September 1, 2009 will continue to be recognized as civil unions.

Building Permits:
The Town of Woodford has zoning regulations in place. Before any land or building is devoted to a new use, or change of use, or before the erection of any building or land development, a zoning permit may be obtained prior to any activity. Building permit application cost: $75.00.
