Upcoming General Election Information
Ballots will have an addressed and stamped return envelope included in the packet,\ \ If you do not wish to cast your ballot this way, please DO NOT simply dispose of your ballot. You can return it to the Town Clerk’s Office in person and indicate on the envelope that you wish to vote in person on Election Day. We will remove the request for early ballot from your voter profile. \ \ Another option is to BYOB (Bring Your Own Ballot) to the polls on November 5th. If you choose this method, you can proceed to the check-in table where you will be checked-in. The poll worker will take any mailing materials from you and let you continue to the voting box.
What Do I Need To Do If I Moved Recently?\ \ You can register or transfer your registration to vote, by logging into mvp.vermont.gov with your name, date of birth and Vermont driver’s license number. When you access your profile, you will have the option to change your address. Once completed, it will appear on the dashboard of the Town Clerk where you now reside, and they can complete the process. If you aren’t comfortable with logging in online, you can always come into the Town Clerk’s Office and fill out a voter registration form. Please bring your Vermont ID, as we will need the 8-digit number.
